About Us

Hello, Hello!

We’re Five Little Pigs, a restaurant in the South Oxfordshire town of Wallingford. We opened back in 2021, and for the last five years have celebrated our corner of the countryside with menus of creative, seasonal cooking. We’ve been included in the Good Food Guide since 2023, and the Michelin Guide since 2025. Our name comes, not from our pork-only menu…, but from the name of an Agatha Christie novel. The famous author lived just down the road from our restaurant, and we’ve even juiced apples from her orchard in the past too.

Here are some things we’re passionate about:

Seasonality

Eating and cooking aligned with the seasons is central to our approach to food (and drink). It means our menus change little and often, as we take advantage of what’s in season. Whether that’s podding broad beans, serving the finest local strawberries or curing pumpkins in our restaurant windows, you’ll always be served the best of British, when it’s at its very best.

Local Suppliers

While we’re proud of our national awards and recognition, we’re proud too to be part of a flourishing food and drink scene here in South Oxfordshire. Over the last five years, we’ve worked closely with the very best local suppliers to act as hub for their amazing produce. From local wines from JoJo’s and Hundred Hills and meat from Calnan Brothers in Watlington, to fruit and veg from The Clays’ in Warborough, we try to source as much of our menu as close to home as possible. We also work creatively with other local businesses, from our popular Cookbook Club with Wallingford Bookshop, to collaborative events with our local independent cinema.
